Hey peeps.. Been looking at the xB for some time and decided against it. My bro went with it and Now I am just sweating the tC.... I have been thinking BCP as the color of choice.

Any tips before I head to the dealer... I have heard that what you see is what you get... No barter at the Scion Dealer. But how about the accessories?

they should be able to put in/on any of the accessories that you want... price is the price no deal making
If you are a DIY guy then I would just buy the tC stock and buy parts cheap at www.trdsparks.com. But if you don't have time to DIY then I would just order it through the dealer and have them install it.
yeah, dont buy accessories at the dealer unless you cant install them yourself
Fire the BCP is sweet. I think I will be DIY... all the way. Thanks for the tip. I am planning on going to the dealer some time this week if I get the chance. I will post some pics of my bro's xB... it's sick...
I have a '06 BCP tC...I love it.

That color is the most beautiful I've ever seen on a car!

A little tip...especially if you're financing...

Don't get all the accessories right away, just get the car bone stock (even exclude the car mats). That way you're not paying interest on stuff you could buy cash.

Scion has a "pure priced" policy, kindof like Saturn's "no haggle pricing". The markup on scion vehicles are very small. Where they make their money on is the financing, and the accessories you can buy for you car. Markup is huge on the accessories. That's why you shouldn't add all that stuff to your tC before you buy/finance it. You'll already be paying a ton for the accessories on top of making monthly payments on them.

I bought my car stock, then bought the car mats later. Then more to come.

Get the BCP! It's absolutely beautiful and you wont regret it.

Great idea but it's almost hard to find a bone stock tC nowadays (at least in So. Cali) unless you order it which could take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months.

I also got the BCP, and I agree that it's one of the best colors for this car.

When I first saw the thread title I thought of this...

When I realized it wasn't I have to say buy the BCP, and do the installs yourself. They aren't that hard to do
And yea, when I first drove a tC (even though it was an automatic) I was very impressed... I later drove a 5-spd and just couldn't resist... ended up ordering one that day. Amazingly, each time I see my car I just think to myself "OMFG... This is one sexy beast (and no I'm not looking at my reflection in the window
)".

Just wait until it's in your garage

BCP gets dirty very quickly and stays that way without constant attention. I'm not slamming BCP or trying to sway your opinion one way or another, but I want you to have all the facts before you decide.
No worries on the BCP being dirty.. Buddies call me Monk when it comes to being clean. The BCP will always look good. Cleaned up in the garage.......

On another note. Auto vs manual.... ?
Well ... I did it...Pick up my BCP on Wednesday...............
