Current Scion tc ECU options

Hi there! I'm Vado and I am currently in the process of building a turbo kit for my 2006 scion tC. I have perused the forums for a while looking for options for an ECU but all of the threads I have been able to find are old and the tech is outdated. I was just wondering if there was anyone else who is turboing their tC that could give me some good options to look at for a quality ECU. (Preferably on the budget side of things.) Thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat. I have 2009 Toyota Camry acv40 2azfe. Currently done custom intake, custom headers and full custom exhaust with hi flow bullet cat. Got a set of cams to drop in and weapon R racing intake manifold. I've been told there is a piggyback option from haltech and link that can run the engine fine. I've got auto trans. I'm in Australia and limited option here although r9ktuning has good reviews for tuning the factory ECU. That is nearly always better. I'm actually looking for oil catch can and external trans cooler atm....hard life lol

You might want to look into the AEM FIC, I got one for about 500 bucks USD and it was significantly cheaper than any of the other ECU options that I looked at. It is also pretty well documented and my builder is definitely having a better time with it than the MS3 that we tried before hand.

I see. Mine is automatic transmission. Not going turbo though. Got Kelford stage 2 cams, weapon r intake manifold, custom air intake, custom headers, custom exhaust, waiting for oil catch can to arrive and trans cooler. Also upgrading all the vacuum & coolant lines to silicone. That's a piggyback you mentioned I'm assuming? Having hard time here in Australia to find someone to tune factory ECU
