I was just wondering...if I were to get pulled over (in california) with illegal parts in my car..what would happen? Would my car get impounded? would i get arrested? lol? or just a fix-it ticket? Does it depend on what you have? What if i had a Turbo kit, illegal intake, illegal exaust..and what not..thanks guys

It all depends on the officer. If they push it hard because you were doing something stupid, they can impound the car, have a BAR smog referee look at it, and require you return it to stock, plus pay a ton of fees and fines.

Or they might do what they did to Robert Graybeal's Supra with the Powerhouse CARB approval pending prototype single turbo. Impound the car indefinitely. That's what the judge said anyway.

Damn california laws..haha I guess the only legal way to go is the super charger.. any updates on that? (i see lots of posts about it but they seem to all be about when its coming out etc..) I found a nice turbo kit that will cost about 4 grand..jeeeze
