i know the guys in socal who could do it, but their fabricating skills are not cheap, and they are usually very very busy with projects. i dont know what to tell you, that kind of custom work is usually only for people with real deep pockets, or real deep connections. hell, usually both.

Who are these guys you speak of? I mean, I'd really like to get this modification done. I mean, like I said people would want to get this done and I would give the rights to them and what not just as long as I'm known as the person who got it done first. Well, you can be one of my connections. I don't have deep pockets at all, infact I don't have any right now. I need to get some sponsorships or something.

Ok, I've contacted a Scion representative and this is what he said:

Thanks for your idea! We appreciate your interest in Scion. However, we do not accept suggestions for design proposals, new products, marketing, or advertising ideas.

Doesn't that just suck. Oh well, so we know they aren't going to help me.

What if Scion is going to make a convertable tC in 2007?

That is an easy one. I have many modification ideas up my sleave so if one doesn't get passed, then I move on to the next.

I don't see how a convertible tC would look any better than a regular tC. It's an interesting project, but it seems like a step backward.

Alright, I've got some new sketches drawn up and will scan them in as soon as I can. I need to know something from anyone who reads this, is anyone good in computers that can get the tC in a program with the correct geometry and all? I have solidworks but I don't know how to use it yet.
