i was just wondering why the cigarette lighters dont still have power with the car off? i know other cars have it. i still love the tc and am willing to put up with it, i was just wondering.

I don't think they have power when the car is off so people don't accidently drain their batteries.

Many cars do have power to the cigarette lighter while the car is off, and many do not. And I'm sure Plissken is right about the reason why.
