Yeah, that looks really neat. I'd do it too, but I have my radar detector constantly plugged in in that outlet, so I'm not gonna bother with it. Great idea though.

my thoughts exactly golden...maybe hard to run the wires but where the heck do u run the wires for that thing anyways??? just down the stereo??
I know my 8500 is wired around the windshield down around glovebox and under coming out by the cig lighter to power becausei want to use the mute button. If i didnt have a mute button on teh cig lighter i woulda hardwired to battery or to another sourc.e
what happens if a cop sees you with a radar in your car?
if its illegal in your state you get fined...and if its not, the cop will give you a higher ticket just because they dont like them most likely....yep yep
