CF hatch with integrated spoiler

If one day I get rear-ended, and this hatch is cheaper than OEM - I'll get it. Can it be painted just like regular steel one?

I just don't think i'm a fan of carbon fiber that doesn't look stock. i need my car to match itself.

does anyone know about how long the carbon fiber stays shiny and glossy? i'd hate to buy anything CF and have it loose its luster in less than a few years.

all of Fiber FX parts are UV coated for added protection and it is awesome... and if it looses its shine, a lil bit of wax wont hurt, u can treat it just like car paint.

that looks like it's nice and flush. Cool look, but I'd also want my car to match.

agreed... Looks like it was in a wreck/mismatch color.

What is the difference in weight between this piece and the stocker. Also how is the fit and finish. we have tons of trouble with rattles as it is, does this add to it or alleviate it at all? I could see the latter being quite possible.

i love the whole carbon hood and carbon hatch i think it looks awesome and especially with this car with the all glass from hood to hatch.. I dont know i like it alot.

i'd paint it... how much weight did you lose? (if any)

do you have to swap out the back glass or is it just the trunk part? Judging from the price on the ebay carbon trunks i think it must just be the trunk part...
