I have raced a bunch of cars since i have gotton my car and ill tell you the truth havent lost yet. I have raced Integras, 97,04 Civics, 04 RSX, Del (SLOW)sol, Prelude 2 of them, Chevy Malibu, and a Saturn Ion. The civics were like 5 carlengths, the preludes her like 4 car lengths, the saturn 4 to 5 car lengths, DEL SOL i dont know to many to count, RSX was a good race but still 3 car lengths Malibu i missed a gear and still beat him by like 10 carlengths. so there isnt much here that i cant beat but i also wont race a car that i know i will defenatly lose to thats just dumb. unles it is my friends car then i have no problem.

did the older preludes have an f22?

wtf is an F22? isn't that like a plane or something?
ive beaten plenty of civics...

Drag strips- the strip was 1/8 of a mile
beaten Celica GT-S automatic by 2.6 sec.
beaten 300zx possibly manual by 0.3 sec.
beaten Maxima automatic by 0.6 sec.
lost to 98 eclipse GST manual by 0.7 sec.

winning and losing back and forth with Civic SI manual, i dont remember the time but this when i was stock and he had exhaust

On the streets -

took all civics (havent race SI yet)
beaten 300zx manual (turboed) starting 2nd gear in the rain
lost to RSX-S ( i was stock)
lost to two BMW M3's ( i was stock and other m3 i had all mods except headers...)
beaten Integra automatic 3 times ( i was stock)
beaten eclipse gs automatic 3 times but lost once (i had intake only)
lost to Sentra SER spec-v 2 times and won 1 time (i was stock and last 2 races that i won and lose i had an intake)

lost to old beamer, it was a 1/4 mile race over. it was me and 3 other friends (im not the driver) against 4 party girls in a bmw, we took off heading first all the way, after goin 70mph they took the rest all the way intill next stop light. what was funny was the chicks were laughing and dancing while we raced goin over 90mph!

all the races i mentioned was a fair races... im not gonna mention other races that were not fair...

my best time on the track was 10.25 sec. on a 1/8 mile @ 70.88 mph

Yes the old Preludes Have F22's. Since my friend is the one I raced and i talk to him every day andf hang out with him but thats cool be ignorant, and yes it is also a Fighter Jet. I also work on the F-16 Fighting Falcon as a Crew Chief. so i know Military jets too. Oh yea My car isnt stock by the way so stop thinking that too.

yes ok..that makes no sense whatsoever..but like everybody sed..there is no way u can beat ANY of those cars, with the exception of the malibu, by as many car lengths as u put..either they didnt know u were racing them, or u jus zoomed past em assuming they would race you..no way in hell..for one, the preludes would have smoked u given the drivers knew how to power shift..two, the base model RSX sure as hell would have put up a good fight because of the power output..the type S would have smoked a tC, no questions asked..civics yah, easily take em..turboed civics, no way..but either way, i love my tC to death, but like another member on here sed, not enough to the point where id brag/exagerrate about my wins..4,5,6 car lengths? no way..but i guess bragging is good for ur ego there buddy

I'm not a spokesperson for this forum in any way, so I can't speak for most people here that are pretty dedicated members... but... honestly, with the rash of recent posts from new members posting kills, some of which are... questionable... I dunno. It gets tiring. We drive tC's. Some of us race them once in a while. (I've been known to play tag here and there). But we aren't driving lamborghini's here. So my car is faster than a civic. It's slower than a rsx-s. *shrugs. I'm ok with that. When and If I ever get a turbo, then I'll be faster than a civic, faster than a rsx-s, and slower than a Evolution. If I drop a crate motor in it and run on slicks and nitrous, I'll be faster than the civic, the rsx-s, the evolution, and yet STILL slower than.... say... LoBuXRacer's Supra.
I'm ok with that.

Eh, no matter how i read that, I sound like a d*ck, but hey. Someone had to say it. Might as well be me. I love my car. This constant battle over who's going to get down the road 1/10th of a second faster is older than my grandfather I guess, and I'm all for having some fun, being young, enjoying my car, but dayumn...

Besides. Everyone knows the tC is the best looking car on the road. Why not drive nice and slow, let 'em get a good look at it?

My friend got a tC and it sure was lovely to see the taillights.
(Not racing,
, just tagged behind him)

Well i dont know what was so hard to understand that the Old preludes had a F22 motor but ok W/E. I understnad where you guys are coming from on the carlength thing this is waht I was told by the people watching the race on the side of the road. We dont race at lights we go to this straight 1 mile road that is deserted. We also dont race for the whole mile just the 1/4. So yea on that note they know they are racing. I also want to know why is it only possible for me to beat the Malibu when I raced a Saturn ION (not the Redline) too. The kills are real mayb I got lucky but I dought it so believe the wins. If you dont care to believe the car lengths thats fine cause I am a little skeptical too. But I was just going on what I was told by the people watching it. Yes the RSX type S would have smoked me I know that I am not that dumb i do know cars and i do know what will beat me and what wont but ill still race a type s just to see how much further ahead he is then me so I can see what i need to be as fast or faster.

You claim you beat a celica-GTS, which is quicker than a tC, in a 1/8mi race by 2.6sec? The rest of your post loses all credibility.

Serioiusly guys, why do you post this crap and assume we'll believe it? This isn't Honda Tech.
After looking it up, bluesciontc is correct...the OLD (pre-'96) prelude had an F22.
isnt a maxima quicker than the tC, isnt it quicker?
yeh so for the people that doubted him..*EH* wrong..its true, the 93-96 models came with the F22 motor..the H22 model didnt come out til the newer gen preludes came out, i believe 98 and up i think?
thats all i needed to know, now its more believable
do we really need to go back and forth saying yes i did, no you didnt?

no one can prove anything via the intraweb. thats why i can say i have a 900hp prelude in my garage and you cant say i dont. doesnt make it f#cking so.
i am inclined to think most of this thread is just bullshit anyway.

10.25 for an 1/8? with all those mods? you suck as a driver, then.
my mother has a 92 lude with the f22. i cannot take it with her behind the wheel by four car lengths. and her car is stock, and she is 57 years old.
yes, my mom could probably outdrive 90% of the people on this forum when she was in her prime, and can still hammer out the corners in that prelude and give me a run for my money.
your mom pwns.

my mom drives a Nissan Quest. yes, she is the loving **baseball** mom
