Hey everyone, I am looking to purchase my tc very soon and ive really been going around looking for the right one. So far every dealer ive been to that has had the color i want and 5 spd has been wanting to add a few thousand dollars worth of accesories on it to sell at a higher price. I even went to one dealer where the flint mica came off the truck as a base model and the salesman wouldnt sell it to me because he said they wanted to add accessories to it and sell it for 24k.

Anyways my question is if you live in southern california and you ordered your car through the dealership (which i plan on doing) how long did it take to arrive?

they really shouldn't be doing that. i don't know about so cal, but in nor cal, maita scion is the place to go.

what part of so cal do you live in ? i bought my tc from toyota/scion of escondido I got lucky it only took a week. had a great experience with this dealership they didnt try to jack up the price with dealer installed options. Even though i ended up getting a few of them anyways {trd springs, exhaust,sway bar, ground fx} if you live anywhere near escondido let me know i can recomend a salesman for you.

i got mine at emore toyota in westminster. took 2 weeks. that was when it first came out

Usually if you don't wanna wait... thats what happens. The dealers will sell you the one they got plus a bunch of accessories. Why don't you reserve one with a reputable dealer and wait like most of us. ??

but rather from good old fashioned not being a huge prick face car salesman that doesn’t care if you walk away happy or broke

hey you should call up Scion HQ and ask them whats up with these dealers putting on all the accessories even when you were right there willing to buy a stock one, and tell them that the dealerships arent following Scion theory about you customize, seem angry, that might work, but they might just tell you to order but its worth a try =), cuz even tho dealers are able to sell at 24k they shoudlnt be -___- =)

You guys don't irritate me like normal car salesmen. First of all, you have never chased after us that I can remember and you don't tell us stuff that isn't true just so you can sell a car and get your commission... Look how long it took Eric; most salesmen would have given up by the time he bought his car
