My tc is about a month old, after like 2 weeks the button to raise the fan speed on the climate control started squeaking like crazy. Thing is I installed a aftermarket stereo and i dont want to take it in to the dealer and have them bitch at me. I dont mind taking apart the dash and opening up the controlls to try and fix it myself and my question is

Has anyone opened this part up yet?

I've taken apart computers and video game systems to fix them before and I never broke anything so I think I would not screw anything up in my car.

Does anyone else have this problem?

The button squeaks? I haven't heard of that one yet. Is it constant or only when you push it?

only when i push it, sounds like i'm stepping on a mouse. If I push on the top it squaks more and if i push in the middle of the button it still squeaks but not as loud

Lubing tends to make the squeaking go away...........
