i was on my way home from UCI, and this camery decides to cut me off
so we stop at a light, he was in front of me
it turns green, and starts off normally
than around 30mph, i press down the pedal, and so did he
man was it gay, my front bumper was where his drivers door was around
60 mph, so i caught up, but coudnt pass him.
i was mad and surprised.... more mad i guess
i cant believe i couldnt pass a v6 camery (think it was 04)
i have injen CAI and custom exhuast with midpipe
tat just ruined my day

^^^ umm yea what snoop dogg said. no it wont make you faster. your gears are still the same weather you shift it, or it shifts for you. that has to be the most retarded thing people do. plus your engine, wont go, but your tranny will.....

Maybe I'm dumb, but how do you "shift" in an AT? I know in a lot of AT cars there's "L" and "1" and "2", but I've always thought those were just for if you're starting on a steep hill or on ice or something.

the only thing shifting the auto does for you is allow you to make sure you stay in that gear until you decide its time to change. and that isnt much. save the wear and tear, hold your foot down on the skinny pedal.

The tc has the camry engine in it. It gets a little better performance because the way they configure the engine. The Tc also needs a diet.
