I run 245/35/18 and have had no problems with rubbing.

Everybody including tire rack thought they were 18x8 when I got my 245's. Now that I know I am thinking about either getting g-force kd's or some pilot sport cups in a 225. Now that I am used to a 245 I will need a 225 that can perform like a 245. Although I will say with a very stiff sidewall I have never had any problems running them. I now have 20k on these tires and they haven't skipped a beat. So i'm not sure if I need to go back to a 225.
