i have been reading something on the internet, that if u want to install the air/fuel guage, it won't work because of the o2 sensor on the tc. has anyone install an air/fuel guage to their tc? did it work or not?
The sensor is neither a conventional wideband, nor is it a conventional narrowband. It is unique, but likely to become the new standard in a/f sensing for Toyco since it is cheap and qualifies the engine for ULEV specifications.Originally posted by NCF - page EG-41 - paragraph 2
The air fuel sensor outputs a voltage that is approximately proportionate to the existing air fuel ratio by converting the oxygen density to the voltage.
As a result, the detection precision of the air fuel ratio have been improved.
