hasn't come out yet soon, it will be more of a noticable growl when you accelerate, with a few hp added
When will people learn that practically nothing will make a "Huge" difference in performance. No one mod, short of FI, will be "huge".
I have no idea how people manage to notice a 3-5% gains in horsepower. So yeah. Want to feel the difference - don't waste your money on small stuff - save for the SC.
Only with a stopwatch on a measured course. For a big SOTP difference, save your money for the SC or the turbo.

That is so true. Hey, I even put the the TRD exhaust on my automatic tC. It is louder..for sure. When timed 0-60 with a passport timer it showed an average of .10 second slower time over 4 runs with the TRD exhaust. Done the same day..same place...40 minutes apart. Little diffence in temperature..and the stock exhaust was done first. As close to the same as I could do..with my limited equipment. The TRD is not worth it to me on an automatic..for sure.
And yes...that stock exhaust required some high heat taking gloves to handle when I removed it after it had been running.
^^^ I would be pissed if I'd spent the money on an exhaust and actually lost performance. Sadly, it is often the case with aftermarket. Claims and actual performance are very often different.

Yes, I'm a skeptic, but I got my skepticism from experience.
When I was buying the TRD muffler I was not planning on any HP gain - I wanted a new toy.

I was truely less than impressed...pissed IS the right word! The TRD exhaust is a nice looking system, but it is a rather expensive decoration on my garage shelf... The drone of the system and reduced performance is sure not a bargain.....
^^^ one word: eBay!
I'll happily take a .10 sec loss off my quarter mile times in order for my car to sound like a freakin' cheetah. Love the TRD exhaust sound. Likely there are very few aftermarket exhausts that will sound that clean. Most of the garbage i see and hear on other cars sounds like a herd of weed eaters. Or a kettle drum. sometimes both.

Rawr.

Was referring to "most of the garbage I see and hear on other cars." I guess this is why quoting is good.
IBS at 60mph - not pretty. But very very funny.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Not fun stuff.
