The pedal is approximately an inch and a half from the floor when it is engaged and I can shift. This leaves a lot of room for unnecessary pedal movement and when I start getting tired I start giving gas when the clutch hasn't disengaged.

Long story short - is there any way to adjust our clutch cable so we can change the engagement position inside of the car? I would rather have my clutch engage either with a slight movement of my left foot or even right next to the floor instead of in the middle like it is. I know people have used clutch stops to solve this problem but I was just wondering if there is an alternate (cheap) solution. Thanks!!!
