I picked up my new tc yesterday afternoon.
I live approximately 150 miles from the dealer, so I got a pretty good first ride.
I was nervous driving so far on a brand new engine, but the dealer assured me that I would be OK if I followed a couple simple rules.....
1)5mph every 5 minutes...
Vary your speed whenever possible by 5mph every 5 minutes or so for the first 500 miles. Don't stay at any constant speed for too long, because the engine becomes accustomed to that driving speed.
2)Always keep your engine at 3000rpm or higher.....
Whenever possible, don't let your engine lag at lower rpm's.
Try to avoid bumper to bumper traffic/stop & go driving.
Take it easy folks
