antique cars should be left in the same condition that they rolled off the assembly line in IMO of course
there are cars that should be left alone, and some that dont matter. the 57 t-bird would normally fit into the restore it to stock category for me, but there are exceptions. not based on what they do to a car, but based on the condition of said vehicle when it is first acquired. there are times you just cant get it back to stock, and a stock looking non-numbers matching car just isnt that appealing to collectors. in that case, i am all for taking an otherwise useless vehicle and modding the hell out of it. but, thats me, and thats what i started doing when i started wrenching - help my pop's mod classic steel.

It's one of the rare times I've seen a car on big rims that I thought looked good. Sweet ride!
