5 Star Shine

Hello to all fellow tC owners and future tC owners.
I have had my tC for a week and one of my concerns beside engine maintenance is the paint and body maintenance. I ran across a product called 5 star shine @ 5 star shine The basic kit is $67 and the deluxe goes for $97. It may be a suitable alternative route for those who don't wanna spend a lot time waxing their car. If anyone has tried the product or can give helpful testimony or info on the quality of the product please post your response(s).

Just reading that website it seems to good to be true to me. Just like the protective coating they offer directly through the dealership that supposedly lasts for years.... I doubt it. I don't see how any protective wax, or finish can last through rain, snow, dirt, washing, etc without losing effectiveness. I'd rather spend less money, and more time keeping my car waxed every couple of weeks and KNOW is protected rather than trusting this product that "lasts for years". If it was really that good, i'd think you'd hear more about it.

welcome to the site!

To be honest, I won't have anything to do w/ that company due to their "advertising" practices... they're known for spamming webmasters w/ offers of link exchanges that have no value, thus leading to search engine spamming, etc. The promotional "genius" behind that writes Gorilla Web Site Marketing which teaches other people how to do the same thing, which then fills my inboxes w/ spam and makes search engine results full of crap. Sorry for the rant

Yeah i think you guys are right..."Indeedy! to good to be true". I was a bit weary about their whole claim but thought I get additional opinions and thoughts to affirm my initial impression. The lusty chick in that skimpy shirt (or should i say blue bandana with two thin straps, hahaha!) bending over the "oh so super lustruous car" was comical relief to their "oh so serious claim"
The elementary diagram just to the immediate right of that chick reminded me of all the "this is it, this is the one product" informercial that flood today's television screens.
And I do believe that Eric has a valid point with the spamming tactic. I wasn't even looking for a waxing or polishing product and the silly banner popped up and I gave it a peek outta curiosity. Well this is an open and shut case unless someone else has more info that may entertain or enlighten us. Thanks a bunch guys!

Oh yeah, what brand do u guys use to wax your car and what brand do u use to shine the rims and the windows? Where can I get them for a cheap price? Thanks

Mr. Clean autodry car wash seems very interesting and it seems to work well for those who have tried it. I will march down to Target or Wal-Mart with my silver tC on our next scheduled car wash and pick up the bald guy
. Thanks for the input Eden project.
