I own a 2016 Tc with 219k miles, for a while now it's been making noise coming from the front when I'm slowing down on rough or uneven pavement. Id say it's like a creaking noise, like a rusty old teeter totter. I notice it in shopping parking lots which usually have bad pavement or streets when I'm slowing down for a red light. I've owned it for 4 years, it was fine when I first got it with 40k miles, but has gotten much worse the last year. Took it to my mechanic but he couldn't really say. Anyone else have this problem?

If you are stepping on the brake as you slow down and you hear a squeaking noise, might be your brake pads need to change. If it makes that squeaking noise even when you're not stepping on the brakes, may be front wheel bearing.

It does do it without the brake being pressed, I thought the bushings were going bad around the control arms maybe, I didn't consider a wheel bearing, one side was replaced last year and it made a loud humming noise.
