2006 Scion Changes

No biggie for me. Few of the folks were bummed about the new 5 speed AT, but that's why I bought my manual.

My car rocks and since Scion's not changing it, they agree with me.

just reading that post reminds me why i dont like scionlife, they are so rude to eachother....i hate it....im a lover, not a scionlifer

cool for the automatic....but i still like my 5speed

with the colors what are their difference from the currrent silver etc?
(scions color names are not very descriptive...what ever happened to blue, white, grey, black..and the occasional glossy black, glossy blue etc???....lol)

Thanks for the info. I guess someone needs to check out the other site, since others of us don't like it. Curious to know what the new blue will look like and what the price will be.

this is soooo OMG, i want a 5 sp auto!! man, sux... im so depressed now >_<

would the 5 sp auto b faster than the 4 sp though?

It might be quicker than the current auto, but I bet they all still have the same top speed limiter.

i doubt it, they will probably add on somehting to the 06 models, whats the point of leaving it the same way. what could they possibly add to make this car any better though

They dropped my color and my transmission. Bonus points for future car worth!

yay! my color is out of production..... as for the 5 speed automatic... could care less... i dont like autos.... now if they had introduced a 6 speed manual... i'd be mad...

I'd be alot madder if they had a turbo'd model. Six gears ain't nuthin' special.

I think the auto tC right now is great... one of the most well behaived automatics i've ever driven. I would never trade my 5 speed for one, but they're great, and I can only imagine that the 5 speed auto will help with getting an extra punch from a roll with more options (gears) to go to. Intresting that they're changing this now. The colors from what I understand are going to change just slightly for the tC. The silver is going to be a darker silver almost gray in some lights, and the Blue is going to be a lighter more vibrant blue. Although I must say I love the indigo ink pearl, so it better look great or they may regret the change. The silver streak, well... to me, its just silver. I've grown bored of silver cars so i dont think any silver will thrill me. But we'll just have to see.

interesting, i am wondering where this information came from. i must do a little research.

Its my dealer who postes it over at ScionLife. He hasn't been one to lie previously.

i really wanna see these colors. when do you believe they'll do an official release of information??
