Symptom was I couldn't shift into any gear when the car started, only if I turn off and started in gear and then only into other gears if I force it in gear. Then some times it worked fine, but it then jams again without warning and not being able to go in gear when I clutch. What it was the clutch have came apart with the dampers and the pieces jammed behind the pressure plate preventing it to be pulled back and not releasing the clutch fully. Picture shows the clutch broken damper, they used solid rubber dampers (usually spring dampers) where they rotted and the metal braces fell behind the pressure plate and the spring levers.
