Not too bad for just a custom intake. Time for an Exhaust, Short Shifter, Lowering, and SUPER CHARGER!!!

Got Pics too... will be up later.

That is not bad, but should be able to get lower times with more practice. I was able to run a 15.68, and the car is all stock. What RPM do you launch at?

Something is hurting you - probably your launch, your 60' could be a bit better. For your best mph, you'd only need to make 152.7 hp. Were you shifting at red line?

Congrats on going to the track and working on the most important part in your car - YOU!

Is it really necessary to though? I thought that right near the redline it's a waste because the power drops off. Or am I wrong? I usually shift a tad before the red line of doom.

The way the engine makes power, you want to shift as close as you can without bouncing off the limiter. Its better to shift 100 rpm early rather than hit the limiter though.

filmnews: I was launching at about 2000 rpms I tried 2500 rpms and wheel hopped it!!!

lo box racer: Yea i believe it is my launch that is killing me because i am not use to racing or taking off with a stick and i usually shifted around 6000 rpms, I also noticed once i got to about 30 feet to the end id have to shift into fourth and i think that is what is killing me too.

ALas: heres the intake, I dont think this is what is slowing me down cuz you can really here the air sucking in a lot more + i think its coming off the line that i need practice with.

With SC tC the power keeps climbing till the rev limiter, so that's the best place to shift. Torque stays flat, too.

I tried to do couple of 0-60 runs with my G-Tech thingy and I sucked horribly. On my first try I spun through first and second, so got about 8 seconds

I wish there was a track closer than a 100 miles from me.

Just wondering, how did you get a mustang gt 03-04 on your kill list? Was this on your current tC?
I beat a 02' Mustang GT at MMP, and that's when I got my best time... given that was his worst time of the day as he was practicing new launch techniques and shifting points (at the end of the day he was running constant high-12's after his launch/shifting was down perfect).
