Lance found that the hatch rattles were caused by poor welds in the hatch...can't fix that with tape.

There was a thread at scionlife talking about the welds as well, so it isn't just your car.

My rattles:
Hatch
moonroof (not as bad as some other tC's I've been in)
radio cover
glove box
Something in the dash. I can hear the rattle through the driver's side air vent.
