because if you need to recline or move a seat.. to, say, put something in the back, it takes 5 minutes to move the damn seat..

That absolutely makes sense Foques.
My last vehicle, a 1995 mid range sedan had power seats, so it just seemed strange to me.

power seats are annoying :/

and on another note I wish toyota offered a "yoda" version of the tc or a lexus version and maybe we would have gotten at least one version of the car with a v6. I honestly think no scion will ever come with anything but a i4, and will not come out of factory boosted , but instead offered as a trd accessory.

^^^^ Either of those mods raises the price substantially, thus getting away from the concept of the tC being a mild performer, with decent piles per gallon, while still being affordable.

Puttin a V6 in the front is also going to worsen an already bad f/r weight balance. The best they can do is to give the I-4 more power from the factory, whether it be by turbo/super or better efficiency.

I wish the scion tc was given a vvtli instead of vvti motor, lift woulda been fun :/ or maybe even a dual vvti kinda like the venza's new 2.7 inline 4

The tC lived a good life. IMHO toyota should replace the tC w/ a more performance oriented model and I think this new ToyoBaru model is the way to go. If Toyota had the guts to discontinue the Supra and Celica, why wouldn't they do the same to the tC?

And I am sure several yrs ago Celica owners were discussing this same topic and speculating what would be replacing their Celica the same way we are speculating now.

I think that logic is flawed.

Scion means a descendant. tC could be an acronym for Toyota Celica! There fore, the tC is a decendant of the toyota celica!

Man...I'm smart.

We have no form, therefore we fear it.
And because we are formless, we revere it.
Thus we are slain.

We are without form, thus we are awestruck.
Thus, we are slain a second time.
Under the name of a mask.
