I'm going to reserve judgement until I can see more lines. Bastards covering it up!

FUGLY

If the car is anywhere close to this looks-wise, I'm not buying it.

That car is FUGLY. I don't care how much power it is putting out. You buy a car based on looks. Whether it be so ugly it's cute, or its just a damn sexy car. But this car is just west of ugly, a.k.a. fugly.

I can use my imagination. And I don't like what I'm seeing.

I'll have to hold out until the production model is released though, to give the final judgment.

Hopefully, Toyota used the "spy shots" leaking them intentionally to garner some kind of reaction to the styling they have come up with thus far... but I have nothing to back up that claim so... we call that pure speculation.

As you can read in the comments on that article, the vehicle is most likely chopped up panels from a Legacy used as a drivetrain mule. I wouldn't be surprised if the final version was 100% different than this. Don't blow it off from these crappy camo'd mule pics

Test mule. There were test mules of the current xB or RAV4 or something that was running around clad in a stretched bB. Also, Honda was developing some car using a stretched S2K. The article suggests this is just a chopped up Legacy.

I'm very sure the end result will look nothing like that, save for maybe the front fender bulges since those don't seem to appear on the legacy.

I think subaru should only work on the engine and transmission and they should leave Toyota to everything else (specially the car design!)
