Gotcha, I figured that was why I probably won't have mine much longer either, and I'll be running like you, Ed.

G35 coupe, 6-speed FTW!

Since this is already way off topic, I don't feel bad chatting in here...

I went and drove an 04 G35 coupe last night, unfortunately the automanual version...and WOW. I actually like thier version of the A/M tranny. It has no automatic override built in. I let first gear run all the way to redline and it WILL NOT override your gear selection. That being said, I LOVE THOSE CARS!

Now to find a 6MT somewhere for a reasonable price.

Off-topic and a thread revive, but this section stays fairly quiet anyway so...

The 4cyl and 6cyl Camry's are not run at the same time on the same line. Line 1 only runs the 4 cyl and line 2 alternates every so often. The welding jigs have to be reprogrammed everytime that the line is going to switch between the different engines.

How do I know? Guess what else is from Georgetown, Kentucky. Employee Pricing FTW. My father is a robotics maintenance tech in Camry under body, line 1 and has been for 12 years. He has owned 2 cars that his line built.
