Default Engine Light on after cleaning AC vents....

Hi everyone,
after treating my AC vents with KOOL IT foam basically to get rid of musty smell, the engine light has come on. I am sure it is not serious and the car's computer think it is a leak but anyway I can reset the engine light? Thanks.
p.s. Can I just unplug the battery and it resets or is that gonna mess up my radio?

You should find out what code is set. Cleaning the vents should not cause a CEL to come on. I am not sure what you mean by you are sure it thinks there is a leak. There are tons of codes and you need to check for which one is set to even start knowing what is going on. You can reset it by disconnecting the battery, but you should always have the codes read before doing that. You can buy a cheap reader or a lot of auto parts stores will read the codes for free.

I assume you mean the CEL, not the Maintenance light.
