I'll be leaving on another ATL - DFW road trip on Saturday. We'll be piloting a friends '73 Mercedes 450 SEL. It's a pretty long car and it's pretty high mileage, but I believe we'll be in fine shape. I'm planning to fly home on Tuesday since this is a one-way adventure for the MB. The owner has moved to Texas.

We'll be enjoying the Deep South in all its glory. Hoping for tolerable weather, despite weather.com indicating thundershowers are likely along a large portion of the route.

No spreadsheet this time. Just cigars and road worthy beverages. It promises to be a good time with the grand finale at Baby Dolls.

It's going to be a great weekend!

Emotional Arguments - they're not just for chicks anymore.

Most performance mods need a watch and timed course to demonstrate actual improvement. Few deliver the advertised claims. Many are actually worse than stock. The best performance mods are made to the driver.

Arrived in Dallas late this evening. Mostly uneventful trip. Having fun already...

The roads here in Texas are as straight as Hank Hill and twice as boring. Hit Dallas on I30 at 2-4 am though and it's like a roller coaster with no lines. It's more fun if you take random country roads otherwise.
