About the Scion tC - If you haven't been a fan of the Scion xA or Scion xB, the tC may be more to your liking. It's a 2.4 liter, 160
horsepower, 163 lb.-ft. torque, work of art! With the TRD supercharger, exhaust and other modifications, it should be easy to push
this car well over 200hp. Standard features include a panoramic moon roof, Pioneer audio system, 17" alloy wheels, and much more...
But, you're sure to want to add on such options as 18" TRD wheels, lowering springs, axle-back exhaust, rear lip spoiler, or any of an
abundance of other goodies offered by Scion and TRD.
Toyota Motor Corporation definitely did something right. While Toyota Celica enthusiasts in North America may not be happy about their

One of our members, Obike, will be taking apart in the 2008 One Lap of America and will be providing updates from the road! The One Lap of
America is a motorsports event in the United States since 1984. It is the successor to the Cannonball Baker Sea-To-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy
Dash, an underground auto race of the 1970s. The premise for both is to drive cross-country, but the One Lap of America respects speed limits.

Chris Rado and WORLD Racing made their way to Moroso Motorsports Park for the second event of the NOPI sanctioned by NHRA
Drag Racing series. This event marked the first opportunity for WORLD Racing to launch the 1800 hp PRO FWD SCION tC down
the track after the months of intense labor that went into it’s build.
We’ve enjoyed our fair share of front-wheel-drive hijinks in empty parking lots with our right hand firmly grasping the e-brake,
but in the end, tail-out antics are always more enjoyable behind the wheel of something with the proper wheels driven. “Proper,”
however, isn’t the way we’d describe how Scion decided to go about campaigning a tC in this year’s Formula Drift series.
According to Chris, “This car has all the stuff James Bond’s cars have plus other stuff BOND wishes he had.” Take the Retinal
Scanner for example. The only two eyeballs in the world that can start this car are in Rado’s skull. And what about an on board
Flame Thrower that’s capable of melting your face from more than 40 feet away? “We went through 17 different flame throwers before
we got the one I wanted. I was going for After Burner type shit.” Mission accomplished.
An eclectic roster of stars of film, television and sports will strap into brand new race-ready Scion tCs to vie for the checkered
flag in the world’s longest-running, most successful celebrity racing event: the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race on Saturday, April 19,
part of the 34th annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
