Here is the route by direction.Let it be known, ALL are welcome to join, so please, if you can make it, let us know in this thread that you will be joining us.The time has come upon us, those of us that have known of this drive have been waiting and planning for well over a year for this event. Engifineer and myself have both been planning for this drive for some time now, speaking of it every now and then, to those of you that didn't know yet. I spoke of the drive quit often, inviting whoever is interested and lives in the area. I am now ready to open this topic up to the general public, and open for discussion. At this point, I am projecting my leave to be the last half of June, and the 21st is the set in stone date for this drive.
I have shortened the path from the original by a total of 2 hours and 37 minutes and a total of 120 miles from the original route, giving us a total time of 4 hours 5 minutes nonstop and 159 miles. I do however, expect stops, for pictures and merrymaking of all kinds. The new route will still have us meet in Hudson, WI. We will still be using the Great River Road. The path has been shortened to Wabasha, MN, as the Southern most point of the drive. I still expect great times to be had by all that attend. If I forgot something, please let me know and I'll add it to the thread or edit into this post.
Now it's time for the map.

The original map that I had made is still in my Flickr account; we will, unfortunately, not be using the entire length of the original route. The original path had us going from Hudson, Wisconsin, all the way down to French Island, LaCrosse, Wisconsin. We would cross between WI and MN a few times before reaching French Island. The plan was to eat at French Island and then drive back to Hudson, using the opposite side of the river that we drove there. That path, without stops, would have been 280 miles, and taken 6 hours 42 minutes. Again though, we will not be going all the way down to French Island.
