I have to run over 1/2 tank to avoid fuel starvation, especially at our larger venues. Hard right hand turns will cause it to starve out.
And speaking of the kill switch, there was a guy somewhere around us up here that was autoxing an evo and had the throttle stay wide open... steered it off course and through a pole and chain link fence before it stopped. All but totaled the car!
We had an AutoX event today. I started the event with a little less than half a tank. When I got down about a quarter of a tank (line before E), I then started experiencing the dreaded Fuel Cut! I can't wait till PTuning releases their competition Fuel setup that includes the Swirl Pot. I'll be all over that. No more Fuel cut, and no more having to run a full tank or even a half of one. God though, I need coilovers.
PS....What the hell was the Evo dude thinking? Hit the break MOFO! Today, though, there was a dude in a WRX that was going all crazy through the slalom (my section). I kid you not...when it was his turn, we walked back into the trench about another 20 feet from our work station...

Dry after eating a tripple whopper.
Yesterday was fun but I was having throttle problems all day. I kept getting a dead pedal and no response from it. I had to slam it to the floor for it to work right. This crap only happens when I go to the BMWCCA events. Oh well BMWCCA doesnt mean anything to me SCCA is where its at.
Are you running a Swirl Pot? How much gas do you have in the tank while racing? Could be that your fuel is sloshing around and the pickup is not getting it.
Almost a full tank of gas, Never heard of a swirl pot what is that?

WTF? Nobody has anything to say? Constructive criticizm or anything? I keep getting, "The music sucks, no music next time".....
Not that I know anything about autox but I thought the music was great! lol. I watched the whole thing thru. Its funny how well the tC performs as opposed to more expensive cars. Great job for the most part (just don't go backwards)!

I have been following this thread for a while and i am incredibly amazed by how much grip you guys get on the road. Some of the turns you make, make me wonder if your even driving a tc. White 8 ball's run seemed more realistic/ what i would expect from a tc. Suspension + tires + camber/toe adjustments effect the tc incredibly. Would be interesting to see same driver in 2 tc's, one stock, one with suspension and/or tires upgrades to find a quantifiable effect of each mod. Sort of like a mechanical engineering experiment with controllable variables.

Sweet! I cant imagine that kind of grip.
Even without suspension work, if you already start with 245 mm wide tires and high performance summer rubber (low tread wear), you'll see a huge grip improvement.
