ya. i was thinking of getting one as well, since ive been looking at the some k20z3 forum websites and most of them love their tbs and they actually get modest gains from them and also replacing their img with a hondata gasket. but ive also done a little more research and found out that half of the people that have them, they notice nothing. the only problem is the cold air intake. the airaid raises the throttle body by an inch and there might be some rubbing with the intake, and/or it might not fit properly in the hole towards the fender. you might have to cut part of the intake out, but it could be worth it. please tell us what you think of it after the install!!

Only thing I've consistently heard owners say about the spacer is that it makes a whistle noise. I highly doubt it'll make an improvements to performance or milage.

throttle body spacer = cool sound. nothing more. it seem to respond slower. but its probably just me. i got the injen cai and then throttle spacer on my 07. the intake no longer sits straight at the throttle body.

Its yet one more thing for the snake oil doctors to sell you. But I have to ask, why buy something, THEN ask people if it is worth it????

i've had TB Spacers on previous vehicles. Look at the inner portion of the spacer where the air passes thru. It has been SAID that with grooves, it will help spin the air faster into the intake manifold, but i think it's all a gimik. There's a lot of hype, but i only noticed a higher pitched tone from the intake with an aftermarket CAI installed. I didn't notice any gains in throttle response with the spacer installed. I guess it's just an added mod to make you feel all warm and fuzzy. I wouldn't say that it would hurt your throttle response, but i really didn't notice any Seat of the Pants gains from installing these in the past and don't see myself adding one to my car.

... wow... there are grooves in the spacer... That should tell you something right there. It's disrupting a smooth flow of air into the intake manifold. Might not be much to notice since it's not much disruption to significantly slow down the air speed, but it's still disrupting a smooth flow of air. Anything that says it helps spin the air, is most likely bullsh!t. end of conversation.

Smooth, cool airflow is best (preferably under pressure)

......!

Spacers were originally designed for carbereters, to straighten the airflow; thus equalizing distribution.
