QUOTE (Dmitry82 @ Jan 18 2007, 09:35 PM) I like the new SI... It has much better handling and pick up then our tC... What's with all the tC vs. Si comparisons running around here later. I test drove one and didn't think the power was as evenly distributed through the rpm's as the tC. The extra cost didn't exactly help me enjoy it either! edit:quote

They're all slow. Really slow. They're just quicker than you are. 14 and 15 second 1/4 miles are really slow. Quick is in the 9's.

Most performance mods need a watch and timed course to demonstrate actual improvement. Few deliver the advertised claims. Many are actually worse than stock. The best performance mods are made to the driver.

QUOTE (sciolyslvr @ Jan 18 2007, 10:19 PM) I am also into Hondas.. but i hate it when people are ricey about their H x2!!! if they weren't so popular, they wouldn't be so ricy. HOndas in general are solid quality cars. of course the US spec motors suck (damn those japanese for keeping all the nice motors to themselves), but the handling/ride quality is always good. but honda's JDM spec motors are top notch engineering quality. its just the fact that civics are so cheap and theres so many (ricy) cheap parts for them...so every high school ricer kid/backyard mechanic can bolt on a huge sniper wing, 4" exhaust or stupid stickers/decals/graphics.

The Lotus Elise and Exige also have an NA I-4 engine. At least they go 0-60 in less than 5 seconds and do the quarter in less than 14 seconds completely stock.
