Just installed my HID's gonna go out tonight to see the difference loving the way they look though! (sorry for the shatty cell phone pic)

& if you mean lowering and exhaust they will be next but since im 18 and a senior in high school without a full time job its kinda hard just to blow $200 on springs and 400 for exhaust just like that. But if if makes you feel better lowering is next when i get the cash haha

Car and new HIDs look good bud. Can't wait to see you lower it. Just curious, are you set on TRD springs? Not sure if you've looked into Tein S-Techs or not, but if you haven't I'd highly recommend doing so. I have them on my 07 and they are great! Smooth ride, nice handling, and quite a lot lower than most other springs out there. Can't wait to see your future mods!

Oh and to your story you posted: SRT4 owners are d!cks most of the time. I love the cars for them being cheap speed, but for some reason everyone who owns one thinks they have a Ferrari lol. Glad you and your girl weren't harmed.

don't feel bad, i've had my car for 2 years and still haven't found a reason to blow 400 on an exhaust.

s techs are really low and i'll admit they do look good, but my experience with springs would tell you to stick with TRD. i met a guy with s techs and he said his drivers side front wheel would rub occasionally because of the extra weight from the driver. also if you're planning on getting a lip (i know i am) i would suggest TRD if you don't want to scrape your lip more than you have to. I have them and they have been so good to me. i rarely scrape (ive prob scraped 3 times in the last 2 years and where i live is very hilly) and the height is a very noticeable difference- ESPECIALLY after you get 18in wheels.

@skatedestroy36
Yeah i mean i would if i could but i dont have that cash haha
and yeah im pretty set on trd's and id like to keep my bumper and when i get a lip id like to keep that too haha

Yikes, didn't know people had scraping problems. I'm only on stock 17s though, don't get wheel scrapage but I have scraped my lip on my parents' driveway, as well as my exhaust and other undercarriage spots on certain dips and speed bumps. As far as 18s, I'd have to test them out. The previous owner had 18s on it at one point but who knows how well that went lol

Gotta love crappy roads :/ I imagine lowering on those roads would cause a lot of headaches. I'm almost afraid to go coils on my car but I think if I do, I'll custom fab a skid plate to put under my car, but that's a long way from here. Post pics of the TRD ones when you get em!
