Hello Forum,
New comer and first post. Go easy on me.

I can't roll the passenger window up or down on my 2006 Scion TC.

How it all started:
Had dogs in my car -> Pressed window lock so dogs can't roll down passenger window. -> Got home, depressed window lock -> Can't roll down passenger window from passenger side. However, the Driver side still can control (roll up/down) passenger window.

I thought it was a blown fuse.

What I did to troubleshoot:

Start Attempt 1----
Suspect "FR DOOR" fuse
1. Turn off car
2. Remove fuse and inspect. No blown "FR DOOR" fuse
3. Re-insert fuse.
4. Verify window lock is not pressed in.
4. Turn on car

Result:
- Window button LED on driver side for passenger window is solid.
- Window button LED on passenger side is blinking
- Can't roll down/up passenger window from driver side or passenger side.
End Attempt 1 ----

Start Attempt 2----
Suspect "FL DOOR" fuse
1. Turn off car
2. Remove fuse and inspect. No blown "FL DOOR" fuse
3. Re-insert fuse.
4. Verify window lock is not pressed in.
4. Turn on car

Result:
- Window button LED on driver side for passenger window is solid.
- Window button LED on passenger side is blinking
- Can't roll down/up passenger window from driver side or passenger side.
End Attempt 2 ----

Start Attempt 3----
Suspect "DOOR" fuse
1. Turn off car
2. Remove fuse and inspect. No blown "DOOR" fuse
3. Re-insert fuse.
4. Verify window lock is not pressed in.
4. Turn on car

Result:
- Window button LED on driver side for passenger window is solid.
- Window button LED on passenger side is blinking
- Can't roll down/up passenger window from driver side or passenger side.
End Attempt 3 ----

During all 3 attempts, the driver side window and moon roof worked perfectly.

I suspect it's something wrong with window lock feature, because prior to my first troubleshoot attempt, I was able to roll down/up passenger window from the driver side.

Can fellow forum members help me on this or suggest something else to try?

Many thanks.

Did you press UP the switches and hold for A FEW SECONDS on each side after re-inserting the fuses?

maybe if its blinking its trying to tell you that the window lock switch is either broke or working improperly. I'd say buying a replacement and trying that, and if it still doesn't work take the switch back and get charged an arm and a leg at the dealer, or such.

I tried to reset the passenger window. But the problem is it will not roll down or up from driver side or passenger side. From other posts I've read, when fuse or battery is replaced, you should still be able to roll down then up the passenger window from the passenger side and go through the reset process. In my case, neither side is working.

The link site suggested:
1. Reconnect the battery terminal or fuse.

2. Turn ON the ignition switch.

3. Lower the window of each door halfway or more with the power window switch.

4. Then close the window fully with the power window switch.

5. Do not release the switch for at least 2 seconds after the window is fully closed.

My problem is step 3 and 4. The passenger window will not roll down/up with power window switch from driver or passenger side.

Then take it to a dealer for no-cost repair since it should still be under basic warranty unless it's over 36,000 miles or 36 months.
