My biggest gift this year was a new desk for my studio. I'm getting ready to put it together right now. I'm also excited about the juicer my sister and brother-in-law got us. They're usually not known for good gifts, but this year they did a pretty good job.

Sarah got me a 1/15 scale DeLorean from Back to the Future and a coffee mug that looks EXACTLY like a Canon lens. It's even got moveable switches for MF/AF and stabalization.

Then there's the early presents to myself like my Gibson and Canon 60D.

Oh, and Sarah got me a set of 4 whiskey glasses, each with a different label on them. One was just Canadian Club, two of them I've never heard of, but the last one is Laphroaig, which is something I've been meaning to try. Gives me an excuse to spend $100 on a good scotch!

There's a brief period (early to mid 20s) were clothes are exciting gifts. When you're a kid, you want toys. When you're a teenager through college, you want money. After college, nobody gives you money anymore, and that's when you NEED it to buy new clothes, because Goodwill stuff won't cut it.
