Tc Transmission Removal

I have a 05 tc and fifth gear has gone bad. I have a friend who is a mechanic that is willing to help me take out the transmission. I was wondering if anyone knew how to take it out easily and if you need to take out the front suspension or motor.

Here's a good write-up on how to get to the flywheel that includes removing the gearbox. It should get you started in the right direction

Change out your clutch for a good kevlar one and DEFINETLY buy the Fidanza flywheel and throw it in. You will not regret it I promise.
