Wiring under cupholders

So I bought my car and noticed it had led strips by the footwells. I followed them under the dash and I took the cup holder's n that stuff out. The wire's underneath the cupholders weren't plug in anywhere. They looked like they should plug in under the center counsel but the wires aren't long enough. I was wondering if I'm missing a piece or if it should reach that far.

Most cars don't come with leds in the footwells so I'm guessing the person before you put them in. Check the battery to see if there are any wires running to your firewall. You can wire them up yourself if you want them in
