I just discovered the same problem. I was planning on driving my hubbie's new car, but found out that the visor won't stay up. He sits taller in the seat and won't be able to drive it like that. In researching this, I discovered that other Toyota models have had the same sun visor troubles. One, in particular, was on a 2002 Highlander. Seems like Toyo would've fixed the problem. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow.

I had the problem on my left sun visor..luckily they where getting so many people coming in with them that they fixed it right away..30 min, because they had it in stock..actually it might have taken about 40 min. Whatever the case, take it to the dealer.

i believe they are talking about the visor for the windshield, the one with the mirror that folds down to block the sun.
